Evoke Films 2019 – A Year in Review
With a new decade dawning, we wanted to take a minute or two to look back on our achievements of the last 365 days. To say we have had a busy year would be somewhat of an understatement!
We have produced 82 film shoots, filmed in 28 countries, edited for over 500 days, created 506 films and nearly 2000 deliverables.
We have produced commercials, brand films, branded content films, highlight films, campaign films, social media films, trailers, long and short form documentary series, internal films and so much more.
Our films have been distributed globally on television, at sporting events, online, on every type of social media platform, and at last count, have been seen by many, many, many millions of people!
I think it’s fair to say that we are experts in sport, and this year has been no exception. We have produced content from and for the most important sporting events, including F1 and the Formula E Championship, all the Tennis Grand Slams and Golf Majors, the ICC Cricket World Cup, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, Manchester United Football Club, the major global yachting races and regattas, as well as the world’s leading equestrian championships.
But we are definitely not sport exclusive and have also made some fantastic films for brands in luxury fashion, travel, energy (the renewable kind), hotels and hospitality, festivals, financial services as well as a number well known independent artists and performers.
We understand brands and we understand audiences and this year we’ve helped brands launch into new territories, launch new products, reach new customers, build brand recognition, create brand awareness, as well as continuing to create great content for many of their existing audiences.
We’ve worked with sportsmen, with inventors, with artists, with singers, comedians, actors, presenters, entrepreneurs… and the general public.
We’ve produced films with micro-crews of 2 and jumbo crews of 50 and everything in between.
We have learned a lot and enjoyed every minute!
So thank you to everyone who has been part of the last 365 days, we couldn’t have done it without you and look forward to seeing what the next 365 will bring.
